A hamartoma is tumor-like malformation contained various kind of tissues such as angioma, benign pigmented moles, neurofibromatous masse§ and the cartila ed-capped multiple exostoses.
For the first time, Albrecht (1904). designated hamartoma about this type tumor. Occasionally this tumor was arised in the lung, kidney, liver and spleen. But there has been very rare papers to be reported about hamartoma originated from the tongue.
We experienced the hamartoma located at the tongue cured by the surgical method, and reported with the literature review.
